May These Troubles Bring Forward Your Inner Warrior

The inner warrior is not the same as the outer, physical warrior, even though that takes enormous courage and bravery beyond belief. The inner warrior comes from the depths of the heart. It relates to love. It relates to loving thyself and others in a way that is true and real. When we create decisions everyone needs to benefit not just physically or emotionally but spiritually also. Sometimes we are asked to navigate a difficult life-path, but it is always an opportunity to choose the highest road.

I created this card to remind myself that there is always a method in the madness no matter what. It was at a time when I felt like the world was against me, or at least one situation that continuously pushed me to the limits on every level. I have always believed that there is a higher purpose in everything that happens to us, however at this time I felt helpless and deeply alone.

I asked myself, ‘What is being asked of me spiritually’, and listened deeply over and over. I eventually realised I was being asked to be there for myself in a whole new way and find parts of my inner landscape that had lay dormant. This was not easy as it was the unknown. To realise that if i had not been continuously pushed down over and over, i would not have reached that desperate place where I found a fire in my soul and that this was a holy opportunity to become my own warrior!
